Our Big day.
The day we waited for,
worked hard for.
31st March, our SYF day.
11.31am: we played our first note on stage.
We waited long for the results.
It finally arrived.
The first band CHIJ ST NICK'S: GwH.
Everyone was shocked.
It was quite an incredible thing that just happened,
and many were saying that they suck here and there..
And the last school,
AMKSS: Gold.... Thats all.
That was the second shocker in that few minutes.
The entire hall was shock that we couldn get
our honours.
It was then obvious that we lost it due to
over timing off our choice piece.
Some of us were crying,
some were bickering.
I just couldn't bothered,
except to think that it was a pity.
From what I know,
AMKSS scored above 90%.
But we exceeded the time limit which
took away 10% of our score, leaving us a GOLD.
Overall, I felt that it was really a waste not
recieving the honours, but the fact that we did
put up a great show on stage,
I think we should be happy with ourselves.
Together with my section,
we went to Pepper Lunch
for our lunch,
it was my first time.
then we went for a movie: The unborn.
It was a total waste of money.
The show is boring,
the storyline suckx,
and there was no proper ending.
Skip the topic on the movie alr.
Derek played the claw machine at zone-x
and manage to get a cute pink Stitch with 2 tries.
We were playing when Uncle Sia came by,
the champion for the toy catching competition.
I asked himfor some tips and discuss
some simple tricks with him.
Then I realise a similarity in our styles.
The only difference was that he observed more than me
and that he was alot more experienced.
As for me, every ending marks a new beginning.
The end of this SYF, marks a working spree,
as well as a period of catching up with my studies.
